ScrubHub

With TestCat and DSC successfully deployed, ScrubHub became the third major application developed by PageDragon for Rochester Regional Health, based in Rochester, NY.

Scheduling staff is a challenge for any organization with personal working in multiple facilities, but medical facilities have additional challenges because of factors such as nurse to patient ratios and provider roles. Applications exist to schedule general staff, but nothing existing that met the specific requirements of managing nursing staff.

In conjunction with Rochester Regional’s Emerging Tech division, PageDragon architected the application named ScrubHub. This desktop and mobile application analyzes past patient attendance to suggest the ideal ratio of patients to nurses, and then allows facility coordinators to schedule personal to meet those ratios. It also allows facilities to “float” nurses between locations.

The application used Amazon AWS, Amazon DynamDB, ReactJS, and numerous other supporting modules and services.
