TestCat

TestCat was PageDragon’s first project for Rochester Regional Health, based in Rochester, NY.

Doctors and technicians, when diagnosing a patient, rely on a pool of tests numbering in the thousands. Tests are chosen for patients based on a wide range of factors, such age, sex, blood type, past conditions, and doctor input.

Without a way to track and filter all this data, the chance for mis-diagnosis was high, and time was wasted on manually keeping the data straight.

TestCat addressed these problems by providing a way for technicians and staff to input all the data points for each test, allowing them to easily search and filter based on entered criteria. The application also allowed staff to compare tests, side by side, and critical criteria was flagged.

The application used Amazon AWS, Amazon EC2, ReactJS, and numerous other supporting modules and services.
